More than 550 vacancies in northern Sweden in the coming months

ManpowerGroup must recruit just over 550 people in Norrland, because of a sharp increase in demand for expertise. Vacancies are mainly in Dalarna, Sundsvall, Umea and Östersund. These are both permanent and summer jobs and "first jobs" for skilled and management jobs in a number of highly sought-after occupational areas in the coming months.


The position is available in most major cities in Norrland, mainly in Dalarna, Sundsvall and Umeå. In Dalarna, you are primarily looking for warehouse and industry personnel, while the Sundsvall and Umeåi companies first require customer service and IT expertise. In Sweden, economists, computer scientists and managers are also recruited.

-We are seeing a strong increase in demand mainly in customer service, warehouses and industry in the north of Sweden and we are of course very eager to find the expertise we are looking for, while it is good to being able to give many people a golden opportunity to get or even change jobs, Eva Ageskär, Manpower's regional director in northern Sweden.
- The labor market in northern Sweden is strong and we are looking for engineers, IT staff, economists and managers. In the spring, we are hiring for management positions in municipalities, county councils, and private companies, "says Olof Salmonsson, experience area manager at Experis in Norrland.
The rise in the labor market is also evident in the number of vacancies on Sweden's largest job site, www.manpower.se, which now has more than 30,000 vacancies.
